SHREE SAI PALKI - THURSDAY - 29/05/2014 @ 7.00 PM - SHIRDI SAI WORSHIP CENTRE, SINGAPORE - In the days when Shri Sai Baba was physically living in Dwarkamai Masjid, he used to sleep in Chawri on every alternate night, between the year 1910 to 1918. This sojourn at Chawri on every alternate night was preceded by a ‘palki’ procession with all regal paraphernalia accompanying Baba from Dwarkamai to Chawri. This tradition of ‘Palki’ procession continues with the same fervour and devotion at Shirdi Sai Worship Centre, Singapore. Every month of last Thurday Palki procession takes place at shirdi sai workship centre from 7pm onwards. Prayer is conducted before Palki procession and procession carrying baba’s palki on shoulder by the devotees is moved inside the centre.From centre palki procession goes around the sri vadapathira kaliamman temple and return back to centre followed by bhajan and at 8.30pm Shej aarti begins (as per schedule) Please attend and receive baba blessing by carrying saibaba palki.
