SHRI AADI VARAH CRICKET CLUB played a 20 - 20 with Forever cricket club at Shivag park Mumbai. We lost the toss but offered first batting. We did not buy helmets but forced to borrow from opposition. .. it was like perth pitch in nineties and bowling speed was around 145 as their players were from mca academy..... we got seasons best opening partnership 48 runs in 5 overs without wicket due to 19 from Atul Pathak and 18 from me. In middle order Vikas Chaturvedi and amit got good statrt but could not build inning. Shelesh hold one end from 6th ovet to 19th n was not out at 43. He has played really well... consistency keeps him apart from the rest....when opposotion came for batting, they played fearlessly n stated hitting 2 boundreies in an over. One of the opener was a raw hard hitter n scored 33 in 20 balls with 5 fours n 1 six.......their score wad 50 runs in 5 overs...97 in 10th after that it was only a matter of time.... it has been a 4th defeat in 6 matches this season.... but as always. ...... hum hongai kaamyab ek din ....man mein hai vishwas pura hai vishwas... hum hongai kaamyab ek din.....
