Under this marathon initiative which begins on the 26th of March, spreading over the subsequent seven weeks, the party’s Prime Ministerial Candidate Shri Narendra Modi will address over 185 Bharat Vijay Rallies covering 295 Parliamentary Constituencies . The concept of Bharat Vijay Rallies is one of its kind and aims to maximize and strategize Shri Narendra Modi’s outreach with voters on the eve of polling. Apart from its sheer scale and size, the conceptualization and execution of these rallies mark a paradigm shift in organizing mammoth electoral public meetingsBharat Vijay Rallies will reinvigorate and transform conventional rallies to make them appealing , engaging and impactfulto the new age voter through detailed planning and coordination between the party’s local and central leadership, before and after the rally. Bharat Vijay rallies will be characterized by a unique mix of a standardized format adapted to suit localized requirements .While Bharat Vijay Rallies will be conducted across India a special emphasis will be made - through standard banners , logo and practices - that the objective, messaging and theme of the rallies remain constant. Party karyakartas and volunteers will receives pecialized kits along with a customized guideline sheet which enable them to follow a series of predefined procedures - both before and after – for each Bharat Vijay Rally. These procedures will ensure that each Bharat Vijay Rally has a i) well-represented audiencevia personalized invitation letters and a local electorate that is adequately informed about the UPA government’s misdeeds ii) targeted dissemination of Shri Narendra Modi’s vision and message before and after the rally iii) Collection of suggestions from the masses at large via Namo Sujhav Paatras and iv) on ground fund raising mechanism for the Modi For PM Fund. Bharat Vijay rallies will be remarkably different from traditionalrallies in terms of attracting masses and communicating with them. Rallies of this genre shall not be a one off vote canvassing exercise but shall be a sustained drive to spread the party’s message and vision even after the culmination of the rally via specially designed pamphlets and CDs - that will contain the synopsis of Shri Narendra Modi’s speech. A typical Bharat Vijay Rally will see local voters, residing in the target constituencies of the rally, receiving a personalized invitation letter signed by Shri Narendra Modi. Prior to the rally, through the centrally dispatched kits, the local BJP leadership will also be provided with well researched report that can assist in a comprehensive mobilization process in preparing for the rally. Using a combination of social media and other communication mediums, such as television and mobile phones, voters in the relevant constituencies shall be intimated sufficiently in advance for a Bharat Vijay Rally. Prior to every Bharat Vijay Rally residents of the constituency shall be sensitised about Shri Narendra vision and the performance of their respective state governments through easy- to- read brochures and Namo Samadhan cards. Rallies of this nature and scale represent a mass contact program and the party wishes to benefit from such a large scale public outreach. This shall be facilitated by the setting up of ‘Namo Sujhav Paatra’ at strategic locations of all contesting constituencies including the rally venue. The objective of ‘Namo Sujhav Paatra’ is to secure as many possible suggestions from the masses. These suggestions can be pertaining to either the ongoing elections or post elections for the next government. Every individual who makes a suggestion shall receive an acknowledgement message. At regular intervals these suggestions from each constituency will be converted to a report format and shared with the party leadership. The reports will be even made available in the public domain via various mediums such as the party website. Another unique feature of a Bharat Vijay Rally will be the simultaneous organization of fund raising along with campaigning. During the rally several provisions will be made for attendees to make a contribution to the Modi For PM Fund if they chose to do so. Contribution can be made in transparent ‘hundis’ or donation boxes which can be easily recognized by marked balloons. Each donor will receive a ‘thank you card’ subsequent to donation. Election rallies are an important instrument in grassroots level campaigning. The BJP’s Bharat Vijay Rallies, with their sustained personal outreach to voters, mark a change in the way the country has conducted rallies so far. ANNEXURE Prior to every Bharat Vijay Rally the party’s local leadership will receive a detailed guideline sheet (sample enclosed) which will contain the following Personalized invitation Letter :An invitation letter signed by ShriNarendraModi which will be distributed to the local residents and key influencers Namo Mantra Cards: These pocket sized cards are Shri Narendra Modi’s solutions to some critical issues facing the country; these cards can be distributed to the people either prior to the rally, during the rally or post the rally. UPA Chargesheet : These are exhaustive analyses of the UPA/State government’s tenure – in an easy to read format - based on various critical parameters like growth rates, education, infrastructure, crime rate etc which can used for talking points for the local party leadership and even distributed to the local residents Banners and Posters Modi For PM Fund paraphernalia : These shall include special GPS fitted collection boxes (Hundis ), a special audio message of Shri Narendra Modi urging people to contribute to the fund, relevant banners and thank you cards for donors Mobilization Tips: This document will provide pointers on specific assembly segments that might need targeted mobilization efforts. Namo Sujav Paatra Boxes: Specially designed boxes which will be kept in selection locations for the public to offer their suggestions to Shri Narendra Modi. Post every Bharat Vijay Rally the local leadership shall receive the following (sample not provided ) 1. One page Rally Speech summary: Within 24 hours of the conclusion of the rally a short synopsis of the rally and key highlights of Shri Narendra Modi’s speech shall be prepared which could then be distributed throughout the constituency 2.Rally Speech CD: A CD recording the entire speech of Shri Narendra Modi will be given to the local leadership which can be used for campaigning within the constituency within six hours of the culmination of the rally. 3. Speech Highlights : Within 24 hours of the conclusion of the rallya two minute speech highlight will be made available which can be shared through mediums such as Whats App, Facebook etc.
