SHS Looking to Make More Paper Cuts: Stevenson High School has cut back on its paper use in recent years. For example, the total number of copies printed on campus declined by 7% between April 2013 and April 2014. Still, the school uses a lot of paper: 14.9 million sheets through the first nine months of the 2013-14 school year. In its attempt to further reduce paper use, district officials are seeking to digitize all of its records. Next month, the District 125 Board of Education will be asked to approve a scanning solution expected to cost between $20,000 to $25,000.
