I get it, people use facebook because they just want some human contact. well, i hate to break it to ya: this isnt human contact. this is a non filtered gateway for which people can cast aspersions, whine, and upchuck theyre daily criticisms. Teenage girls used to have diaries for their most intimate thoughts, now they have facebook and spew undignified rhetoric 200 characters at a time. Ill admit Im a voyeur when it comes to facebook. check in on my old friends without them knowing cause Im curious..but not curious enough to pickup a phone. We all do it and its fun. yay FB. But seriously....no one cares that are drinking a diet dr pepper at taco bell. But you just planted a bunch of flowers in your front yard and took a pic and showed us...Awesome! no one cares that you just checked in to bank of america. But you took that money and bought 40 boxes of girl scout cookies, awesome! whoo hoo, youre hanging out at the mall with jenn. sweet? I guess Im at my wits end with the hurricane of negative on here. people whine and complain about the most stupid shit. My friend Tracy has been kicking cancers ass off and on for years and i have never seen her put one negative thing on facebook. The only thing remotely close was chemo was rough today. if anyone has a right to complain about anything its her....BUT SHE DOESNT! think about the devastation in Oso.... yet you want to complain that your burger had wilted lettuce? Can we please keep some of our dialogue internal or at least with the people youre with? in the immortal words of Thomas Hayden church in the movie Easy A, not everything you say is a gem. i know, I know, i could unplug. i do, frequently. but when I come back on the losing horn from the price is right goes off... Maybe we could say that days that end in Y are the ones that we dont say anything negative...? ..AND IM DONE....
