SIA Licences Update Old style paper application forms for SIA licences are no longer in use. If you wish to apply for your SIA license you should fill in an online form at the SIA website. You should then go to your local post office where you will get your application completed. A post officer will check and return your documents, take your payment and send your photo and signature to the SIA. The SIA will then add them to the application information already received and continue with its checks. This service with the Post Office makes applying for a new SIA licence easier and cheaper; most applicants will no longer need to post valuable documents and supply a photograph, which can be costly and inconvenient.
