SIDNEY FIREFIGHTERS HELP A FAMILY FOR CHRISTMAS SIDNEY, Oh. --- (December 19, 2014) Sidney Professional Firefighters Local 912 held their 4th annual charity shoot on October 26, 2014 at the Shelby County Deer Hunters. Half of the proceeds from the charity shoot were donated to a local family in need with the assistance of the Russell Road Church. The donation was delivered to the family today by Tony McLain, Ray Hess, and Jake Coverstone who are members of the Sidney Professional Firefighters Local 912 in hopes that it might brighten their holiday. The remaining proceeds were donated to the Shelby County Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry. This is an organization that helps feed those in need by using the proceeds to process meat and then donating the meat to Agape. To date the Sidney Professional Firefighters Local 912 has raised and donated over $3,000 with proceeds from this annual charity event. Local 912 would like to thank the participants of the charity shoot, Russell Road Church, Shelby County Deer Hunters, and Tactical Solutions for their assistance with this worthwhile event.
