SIERRA LEONES PEACEKEEPING FORCE HAS A BRILLIANT REPUTATION FOR EXCELLENCE : WE HAVE MADE VALUABLE CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE MAINTENANCE OF INTERNATIONAL PEACE AND SECURITY. THIS IS ALSO WHY THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY MUST COME OUT IN FULL FORCE TO HELP US DEFEAT EBOLA. WE ARE AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE WORLD ECONOMIC ORDER AND PEACE AND SECURITY APPARATIK. Despite the Ebola fears affecting their deployment or rotation, there is no doubt that the Sierra Leone Peacekeeping Force has a brilliant reputation for excellence wherever it has served. As a matter of fact, the Sierra Leone Peacekeeping Force received medals of honor from the UN two years ago in appreciation of THE GALLANTRY OF OUR FORCES and Sierra Leones contribution to the maintenance of international peace and security. The Dag Hammaskjeold Medal of Honor for peacekeeping is the highest distinction in the world of international peace and security. Those who think Sierra Leone is a liability are therefore wrong. WE ARE IN FACT AN ASSET TO THE WORLD. Here am I, in my capacity as Minister Plenipotentiary to the UN, receiving the medals on behalf of the nation, from the UN Secretary General, Mr. Ban Ki-Moon , during a grand and auspicious ceremony at the UN Headquarters in New York. Standing on my right is Sierra Leones Military Attache to the UN then, Col. Ronnie Harleston. In the second photo, I am seen with some UN officials . In the third pic, I am seen with Col.
