SIGHTING - Canandaigua, NY Canandaigua dog sighting on Ontario St. extension in the parking lot for the Ontario pathways trail. It was the color of a yellow lab but smaller- I would guess 50 lbs. It had no collar and was skittish. It was very submissive and put its tail between its legs when I approached. It licked my hand and when I went back to my car to coax it into the back seat, it took off running down the railroad tracks. Someone is feeding the dog right next to the railroad tracks there it appears. There was a pile of huge carp left there for the dog to eat. I notified Happy Tails but hope others will keep their eyes open for this dog if he/she is abandoned.
