SIGHTINGS UPDATE | 22.04.2014 A female Blue-winged Teal was a new arrival in Kent today, while further excitement was provided by the continuing Collared Pratincole in Devon and Irelands third Sardinian Warbler still on Dursey Island (Co Cork). Just two of yesterdays outrageous flock of 16 Black-winged Stilts remained on Jersey. The Red-breasted Goose remained in Dumfries & Galloway, as did the female King Eider in Co Donegal and Two-barred Crossbills in Norfolk. A Cackling Goose arrived in London, but the big excitement of the day actually concerned a bird seen last year - the Western Palearctics first Wahlbergs Eagle, in Egypt on 3 May 2013 (photo below). birdguides/picture?f=431520
