SIGN FOR JUSTICE FOR ELSA PLEASE !An Italian Greyhound was found on the streets of Burrillville in Rhode Island nearly frozen solid. She is somehow holding on to life and needs a miracle to make it out alive.Elsa was discovered by a resident under a car on New Years Day. Toni Liberatore recalls the entire scene: “It was something similar to holding an ice cub to my body. She was frozen stiff. She was extremely weak and I could barely feel a bone in her body”. Liberatore says she managed to find Elsa because of her own dog. “I went outside for a walk. There was a truck parked down the road and my dog kept trying to crawl underneath. I looked under and I saw the dog”.The dog was rushed to the hospital, where it took over two hours of heating pads and fluids for Elsa’s temperature to even be measured on a thermometer.Elsa is thought to be between 13 and 14 years old. She was emaciated, had very long nails and problems with her teeth. This only points out that this dog was not on the street for just one night, but it a victim of severe neglect from her owner.We, the undersigned, urge Animal Control to investigate this situation as soon as possible. We want the Elsa’s owner to be brought to justice. He is a threat to all the animals out there. Don’t let the owner go unpunished!
