SILKs Director/CEO Sanjeev Gill presented to 50 Business Network International Members & Visitors on Friday. The presentation was well received by all members and one of the member Sia Psicharis the owner of Beautyologist posted below feedback on her Facebook page: “Dear Friends, This morning I had the pleasure to listen to such a humble and inspiring man who took the time to educate a room of business professionals. A man who started his journey in Victoria being homeless and sleeping at Spencer St Station, a father, a husband, an entrepreneur, a man that looks at you in the eyes and you can feel how grateful he really is, a man that has all the time in the world for people and really connects. This dear man has taught me so much about giving and receiving without him even knowing! One of my first encounters was when Sanjeev Gill shook my hand earlier this year, looked me in the eyes, paused and said thank-you. From this point onwards, I now shake hands to stop and take a moment to really show my appreciation instead of an email or a causal thanks. This gentleman had nothing but a belief in himself, a belief that he transpired into education. A belief so strong he now owns one of the biggest Training Organisations in Australia and fast becoming a worldwide success with offices abroad. Why am I sharing this with you? I learnt today that SILK training is a Private Tafe that is Government Funded. SILK specialises in Workplace Training, Hospitality, Management and Business Management. A course that so many of us should do. I know I could benefit from this. I am currently looking for a Manager at Beautyologist and knowing that Sanjeev offers a Government subsidised course, I have no hesitation in sending my manager and senior staff to his school. It is an extra incentive for our staff who walk away with a certification and so much more. Thank-you Sanjeev for the moving video”.
