SILVER GARAGE I had a dream Yesterday More like a memory So far away I came out my back door I saw neighbors and friends If it was a dream I didnt want it to end I passed my uncle Years ago dead I kissed my Grandma On her sweet Wrinkled head I checked my pocket as I walked by Yeah I had fixings Time to get high I walked down to The Silver Garage Hoping this wasnt a dream Mirage But Goetz was waiting And bill and Paul We were All 14 to 16. And our world was small Mole was there And Sauter and Sid God we were young Just barely kids And the cool girls were there. Connie..Karen.and Lisa Catherine..and Peggy Silver garage Mona Lisas We were smoking pot And cigarettes too We were laughing and partying Like we used to do There were others there Too many to name.. Reillys Reigers and Sharkeys All were the same Dietrich and brad and Doug And the rest MY CHildhood friends Best of the best But then I awoke And it was just me 4 a.m. Needing to pee I looked in the mirror At my wrinkled face And wished I could go back to that place But ya cant go back You can only find Your childhood memories Stored in your mind!!
