USING MUSIC AS A TECHNIQUE FOR GETTING RID OF UNCLEAN SPIRITS AND KEEPING THEM OUT OF YOUR HOUSE! by Deirdre May 22, 2014 The Bible teaches that we can use music to rid ourselves of harmful spirits. And whenever the harmful spirit from God was upon Saul, David took the lyre and played it with his hand. So Saul was refreshed and was well, and the harmful spirit departed from him - 1 Samuel 16:23 Personally, I think when one is engaged in Spiritual Warfare, the best music is WAR MUSIC! You see Attitude and Fortitude is everything when it comes to spiritual warfare. You have to be prepared for the long haul, because after your first bout with an unclean spirit, rest assured seven more will come and try to enter your house - your body - the temple of God. So you must be prepared for war. “When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, but finds none. Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order. Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there, and the last state of that person is worse than the first. So also will it be with this evil generation.” - Matthew 12:43-45 BASED ON THE FACT THAT KING DAVID DANCED AND SHOUTED BEFORE THE LORD AND WAS BLESSED, IN MY OPINION MUSIC AND DANCE ARE THE BEST WAY TO HONOR GOD, PREPARE FOR SPIRITUAL WAR AND DEFEAT EVIL SPIRITS. I SAY CHANGE THE WORDS TO YOUR FAVORITE DANCE SONG SO THAT THE WORDS HONOR GOD AND GO FOR IT! FOR EXAMPLE ILL HOUSE YOU is a New York Expression of the 80s that meant -- Im gonna kick your boo-tay-tay-tay! So I just change the words to apply this to my sinful self and evil spirits -- I change the words to: SIN, ILL HOUSE YOU! ILL HOUSE YOU! YOU IN MY HUT NOW. THEN ID DANCE AROUND IN FRONT OF A MIRROR KICKBOXING ACTING OUT A REAL FIST FIGHT BETWEEN ME, SIN AND THE SEVEN EVIL SPIRITS -- WITH OF COURSE ME WHIPPING THEIR BUTTS -- BY THE TIME IM FINISHED -- IM TIRED, IVE HAD MY DAYS EXERCISE AND THE EVIL THOUGHTS ARE GONE. YOU CAN CHOOSE ANY SONG YOU LIKE, IF IT IS A SECULAR SONG, JUST CHANGE THE WORDS SO THAT THEY HONOR GOD. PEOPLE TEND TO GET HUNG UP ON PETTY THINGS LIKE TYPE OF MUSIC, BUT ONE CAN TAKE A LESSON FROM KING DAVID AND HIS WIFE MICHAL. Michal was punished because she did not approve of the way David danced for the Lord. SO LET SIN KNOW -- SIN, ILL HOUSE YOU CAUSE YOU IN MY HUT NOW! 2 SAMUEL 6:12-23 (KJV) 12 And it was told king David, saying, The Lord hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So all the people departed every one to his house. 20 Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself! 21 And David said unto Michal, It was before the Lord, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel: therefore will I play before the Lord. 22 And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour. 23 Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death. youtu.be/AFGhQSiGHWM
