POSITION – Civil Supervisor • Project - QG LR-2 • Status - Single • Duration - One year, will be extended • Salary - QR8000 - 9000/- • Overtime - Client indicating the guys will work 6 days a week • Duty Hours - 5 days X 10 hours a week • Food Allowance – QR 450/- per month • Accommodation – Shared accommodation Requirement:- 1. Qualification - Bachelor Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience. Qualification in civil Engineering desirable. 2. Knowledge and / or Experience – Minimum 6 years experience in Civil Quality Control in the oil and gas industry. 3. Technical and Business skill – • Excellent understanding of an international Standards (ASME/ASTM/API/BS/EN) • Excellent understanding of Project Technical requirements • Excellent written and verbal communication skills of English • Excellent interpersonal skills • IT competence with MS programs Key Job Accountabilities:- a) Ensuring awareness required implementing the QMS including Quality Policy, quality objective, and role of personal to support the project QMS. b) Responsible for study, design, specification, and services related to civil excavation, back filling and compaction of material, fabrication of pre-cast structural including insitu casting. Monitors re bar and form work fabrication as well cement batch certification, This will include ensuring all design mix and trial mix of cement in compliance with project specification and that the cement batching plant complies with this. Witness all cement pours and sign off company representative ensuring preservation of equipment / materials c) Developing and publishing Non-conformity Reports(NCR) and Surveillance Reports to identify and resolve the discrepancies observed during construction phase, ensuring timely completion of quality verify document and forwarding to Quality Document control group for compilation into system. Review Contractors Inspection Test plan, Inspection test report, Method Statement, QC plans & procedure d) Conducting surveillance inspection of discipline installation, particularly with respect to cement poring and curing times. e) Reviewing civil/building quality dossiers and Quality verification documents to ensure all documentation have been segregated according to Commissioning packages and mechanical completion packages f) Ensure punch list has been cleared, piping documentation (analysis, drawing, QC documents, FAT, data tapes, etc.) are ready to deliver to company g) Coordinate with contractor regarding punch list items and construction modification / rectification, Participate in resolution of technical quires raised by contractors regarding engineering design conflicts and installation problems h) Monitor and perform civil / building inspection activities, conduct inspection of materials and equipment before installation and during execution. Attend and witness pipe testing performed by construction. i) Overseas all civil and building specification and procedure and ensure contractor compliance. Witnesses testing as required and review records. Job Purpose:- • Ensure that the quality of work on civil excavation, back filling and building works are consistent with companies policies and requirement together with national and international standards, by the introduction where necessary, of procedural guidelines. He provides expertise in piping inspection to project management team(PMT) • Based on site at Ra Laffan LR-2 offices.
