SINGAPORE Exchange chief executive Magnus Bocker apologised for the latest market disruption, saying that the market operator takes full responsibility. SINGAPORE Exchange (SGX) said programming changes over the weekend led to a software error that affected end-of-day processing on Dec 1. All post-trade online systems, including the client-accounting system, have been available since 6am on Wednesday, SGX said. SINGAPORE shares ended 0.57 per cent lower on Wednesday with the Straits Times Index slipping 18.93 points to 3,303.39.
