SINGING TOURISM AMBASSADOR. I have already played the role of Ambassador twice in my life--in different capacities. In 2007, I spoke in the U.S., on behalf of young Filipinos, as a Rotary Club Philippines (District 3800) Ambassador under the Group Study Exchange Program. Just last year, Fitness First Philippines named me as its Health Ambassador after I bagged the title in the New You Achievement Awards. After doing several singing stints, I got the surprise of my life recently when I got invited by the Department of Tourism to join other Filipino artists in a tourism roadshow it will be staging in Canada--in the cities of Vancouver and Toronto--this April. I will be singing several songs in the show which aims to invite Filipinos in Canada to consider coming home for the summer. I guess that makes each of us in the ensemble a Singing Tourism Ambassador for the Philippines--and I am glad to take on the title for the third time. #forthephilippines #singingambassador #offtocanada
