At this stage it is still a SW event, with any activity likely to remain relatively coastal. The next model run through later tonight will be the telling one, we will bring you the latest when that comes through. For now, here is the latest for tomorrow. -- We can expect highs to max out at 7deg, with the strong SW wind making it feel much colder. -- Timing of showers is still proving difficult to pinpoint, but when the come over, they will be in from of sleet, hail and possible even snow later in the evening. --Banks Peninsula is in the firing line with snow above 300m, with 10-15cm accumulating above 600m. -- Metservice has a Road Snowfall warning for Lewis and Arthurs Pass through until tomorrow morning. -- A severe Weather Warning is out for Banks Peninsula, with 15-20cm above 600m, and lesser amounts to 400m. Over all, a very cold day on the card tomorrow. Information on the latest later tonight. The good news is, after tomorrow, it looks cold but calm for the rest of the week. Back soon! -Josh
