SINGLE, HAPPY AND PREPARING. PART 5 MAXIMISING YOUR SINGLE HOOD “Remember now your creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not nor the years draw nigh when thou will say I have no pleasure in them” Ecclesiastes 12:1 BUILD AN INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR FIRST LOVE This is another reasonable thing you must do as a single. ‘A woman’s heart must be so hidden in Christ that a man has to find Christ in order to get her” “ If you want the best woman, you won’t find one without Christ” Relationship with God is the best relationship you can have so you must have a relationship with Christ. Like I said in the past teachings; it is always an impossible task for some singles to hear the Lord speak to them concerning His choice for them in marriage mostly because most of them do not even have any relationship with Christ let alone cultivating the habit of hearing from Him. “Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his ways and the unrighteous his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord and he will have mercy upon him: and to our God for He will ABUNDANTLY PARDON” Isaiah 55:6-7 “As the hart panteth after the water brooks so my soul panteth for thee o God” Psalms. 42:1 STUDY: 1 Corinthians 7:32-34 “I would like you to be concern. AN UNMARRIED MAN is CONCERNED about the Lord’s affairs-how he can please the Lord. But a MARRIED MAN is concerned about the affairs of this world-how he can please his wife and his INTEREST is DIVIDED. AN UNMARRIED WOMAN OR A VIRGIN is concerned about the Lord’s affairs: her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit. But A MARRIED WOMAN is concerned about the affairs of this world-how she can please her husband. NOTE: Is this passage true about you? Are you devoted to the Lord as a single? How committed are you to the things of God? Is your heart panting for God? ASK YOURSELF! “God is committed to only those who are committed to Him” QUEEN ESTHER Of a truth there are many married ones who are still vibrant in the work of God despite their marital responsibilities but this can be traced to their zeal as a youth if not so they can’t still be burning for God. Even so there are some tasks that are very challenging for the married which only the singles can do. Utilize your single hood. ‘An ideal marriage is one between a man, a woman and the Lord” QUEEN ESTHER Start your life with the lover of your soul. Saturate your mind with His word!
