SIOTD: I saw a guy holding up a sign and waving for a political campaign. I cant remember the name of the name of the politician but it was for a state house position. I pulled over, signaled for the guy to come over, and said Im not sure who I plan on voting for in November, where does he stand on the issues? The response: He really cares about education. My response: Ok, thanks. I feel informed now. He won my vote. Then drove off. This is one of the many reasons why I hate the government. I get sick of politicians and their supporters using meaningless phrases like that. What does it even mean? Does he support abolishing public schools? Does he support year round school? Does he support common core? Politicians are never clear on what they advocate for. I dont see why people are still voting.
