SISEMES STREET IN ADAMAWA 2015. Adamawa State is about to claim its name, Land of Beauty. With the rate at which political intriques are going in the state, it is clear that the state is in the part of development. All political actors in the state are divided in different political parties and everyone is trying to curve a constituency for his/herself. I saw a state with about five different political parties in the legislative arm and a governor without a clear majority from his political party. PDP? SDP? APC? PDM? etc... i cant tell. With PDP losing its grip in the state, APC striving to take power, PDM doing all it could to form government with less than eight contestant for the state legislative arm and finally SDP with a large group of aggrieved members and bigwigs from the PDP doing a very big grassroot networking to be at the Dougirei House, we are about to watch a Sisemes Street in few weeks to come. I saw a state with members of its legislative arm coming from mainly the opposition with the ruling party having less than six members, one from the South, two from the Central and hopefully one from the Northern Senatorial Zones. I saw a state with the three senators coming from different political parties with the Africas largest political party likely not to have one from all their three imposed candidates. I saw most members of the federations lower house from the state coming from the opposition parties striving. Hmmmmmmm.
