SIXTH SENSE TECHNOLOGY ::::::: (connecting physical world with digital world) This technology has been developed by Steve Mann of the MIT media labs and has taken the wearable concept of any device along with the effects of gestures on it to a new zenith. Further advancements on this have been made by Pranav Mistry of the MIT labs and all the dimensions of the same have been changed. Basic understanding :::_- We humans use the basic power of the given five sense organs to look and feel things. Somewhat successful but still some domains are not covered by them which makes the concept of the sixth sense imperative to implement. This concept aims at providing the users the liberty of using wearable technology. The example can be gauged back to the concept of getting suited up and gesturing the machine for making any changes. This technology has mixed the digital concepts with the traditional world keeping a pendent based look attached to its functioning. Technological view:::-- The basic parts and their functioning are as follows: * Mirror- this part gauges the gestures made by the users *Camera- complete tracking of the hand and finger gestures are being noted and captured *Projector- this device allows the converted signals to be sent over the interface making the technology functioning. The concepts of minute detailing can be treaded back to the use of devices mostly of small is like the pocket form of the projector. * Interfaces- the projections made by the projector has to be thrown on clean and acceptable interfaces *Computer vision- this form of technology perceives the changes in gesturing environment and transmits the various touch identifying theories like fiducially coded digits making this multi user touch and gesture technology a success. Building the prototypes ::::- Multiple interactivity and touchable features make this technological advancement complete in all aspects. The developments made in this front are as follows: # The concepts regarding the augmentation of real-time objects allowed the user to have access to any kind of information related to the selected product. # Navigating through the maps has also been possible # Usage of hand drawn symbols has come up with the use of this technology and can be of great further use. The major requirements which will be fulfilled will be allowing any tool or mail option to crop up for usage if the drawn is been made on the abstract surface. A nominal costing of 350 dollars is being levied on the prototype model excluding the machine or interface.
