SKT Welfare: 2013 & Our Work for Syria So far, 2013 has been a tremendous year for #SKTWelfare, in terms of what we’ve achieved against our aspirations. #Syria has been on the front page of global media attention for much of 2013, as the world continues to witness the devastation being wrought on this country and its people. SKT Welfare has been at the forefront of humanitarian efforts to tackle this ongoing crisis, initiating projects, fundraising and delivering different forms of aid within Syria and into some of the refugee camps. What we present to you below is a rough cut of a short forthcoming promo video we’ve been working on, introducing the charity, the work that we do, showcasing the March/April 2013 Aid Convoy to Syria, and some of the aid delivery which has happened in the past few months. It’s a work in progress, and the final edit will contain more recent footage, and provide a more forward-looking perspective as well.
