SLIGHT DETOUR: 2015 has already presented its first detour. As part of my annual physical God answered my prayer that if anything was not right it be revealed and I found myself experiencing my first CatScan on Wednesday. The results require a complete change in plans. Sadly, Janet and I will not be going to Indiana tomorrow for Revive Indiana Prayer Week with Time to Revive. Instead we see a specialist Monday afternoon, because I have an unexplained large mass of fluid in my abdomen which will require drawing off and testing extensively. All the organs and lymph nodes, the doctor said everything looked fine – so they will work backwards to find out where it is coming from. We are fine and unafraid, but attentive. We know God is in charge and we know that to which He has called us. Please pray for definitive results, wisdom for Dr. Shapiro, that nothing be done that neednt be, that exactly what is going on is revealed, and that we quickly are able to return to ministry – where our hearts are.
