SLU 101 UPDATE - Day 3 has been wonderful and long! We started a little later this morning at 9am after a delicious breakfast and had a session with Ed Newton about swallowing the big frogs first. After a short break and run to Starbucks at the hotel, we heard two sessions from Charles Cooper about our worldview. We ate lunch at the hotel before heading in buses to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure for the rest of the day. The students were able to choose one of these parks at which to spend the afternoon. The majority chose Islands of Adventure with the large roller coasters and rides. A smaller group chose to go to Universal Studios with the movie themed rides. We experienced a few short rain showers and were drenched, but it helped us stay cool all afternoon. We ate at different places for dinner all throughout the parks and were able to shop for souvenirs and take photos together. We left Universal around 9pm and are all getting ready for bed to prepare for our last day tomorrow. We will have sessions in the morning from 9-12, then eat lunch at the hotel, and our group will take a shuttle to the airport at 2:15pm. Our first flight is Delta 1058 to Atlanta at 4:30pm (ET), and then we will take Delta flight 2461 to Memphis with ETA at 7:31pm (CT). We will update FB to keep you posted on our flight schedule and if any changes occur. We have added more photos from today to our SLU 101 album. Keep our group in your prayers as we take in the final information from SLU and head home tomorrow afternoon! :)
