SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL (know who ur friends are) -------------------------------------------------- Sometimes u neva know who ur real friends are when u are living lavished lifestyle. When everybody seems 2 sing ur praises. But moment of trials is a good parameter 2 measure ds. Ds was d fate of one rich philanthropic young man. He was a chief of high reputation, respected by everybody in his native land. He gave scholarships, sponsor people into business, build a lot of social amenities, help orphans, widows & less privileges. D sight of ds pleased God. But when God saw d crowd of people swarming around ds rich man, He decided 2 reveal 2 him who his real friends are. He was attacked by terminal disease bone marrow tumor. After diagnoses he found out dt an average of $1500 or #250000 is needed 4 him 2 access treatment (blood transfusion & others) every month. Having bn absent in his business 4 sometime, thing started going down. Not long, he became broke, but d condition was not getting better. Once a rich man was humiliated by sickness 2 d point of begging 4 financial assistance. All d people he helped in various ways assisted initially, but when his condition persisted they stopped visiting. D high point was d day his wife was insulted by one of his closest friends whom he helped 2 setup a business. They almost sold all their asserts & used d money 4 treatment. D news in community was dt his sins hard cut up wt him. In all ds time of trial, only two of his friends was consistent in visiting & supported wt money. At d time appointed by God 2 restore him, He appeared 2 him @ night vision & said; my son where are ur community of friends & praise singers. Lord they all abandoned me accept 4 ds two friends of mine. God dn said,I wanted 2 show u dt u have always hard two of dm & Me as ur only true friends. Others are coming 4 ur wealth. He restored his health & charged him 2 continue in his charity work. D man went back 2 his buz & gradually he rebuild his wealth. One day he throw party 2 celebrate his survival. As usual d venue was filled 2 capacity & there was enough 2 eat & drink. At d peak of d event he got up & addressed his guest as follows: I tnk u 4 joining me in ds survival party. It has pleased d lord 2 restore me back 2 health. My trying moment have helped me 2 realized dt SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL. Is only in ur small state (difficult moment) dt true friends are precipitated 4m bunch of praise singer, who stays around 4 their own selfish gain. All d same, I have learnt how 2 live as a poor person & how 2 live a luxurious life as well. Glory be 2 God who have bn my source of help. My dear reader, what a friend we have in Jesus. A present helper in d time of need. Whom in d time when we were still sinners; was sacrificed himself, bought us wt his blood & made us line of kings & priest 4 God; 2 rule our world.
