SNAKES & LADDERS: * Life is a lot like “Snakes & Ladders”. Every time you do a good deed for the sake of Allah, you are raised in ranks before Him. These are the ladders. So find them and rise! * “Allah does INCREASE in guidance those who walk aright. And the righteous good deeds that last, are better with your Lord, for reward and better for resort.” [Qur’an 19:76] * “We RAISE to degrees whom We please.” [Qur’an 12:76] * Similarly, every time you do a bad deed or a sin, your rank is reduced before Allah– till it becomes the lowest of the low! * These are the snakes, so look out for them and stay far away. * “Then We reduced him to the LOWEST of the low.” [Qur’an 95:5] * “Verily, the hypocrites will be in the LOWEST depth of the Fire- no helper will you find for them.” [Qur’an 4:145] * May Allah protect us from the Fire and grant us a final home in the HIGHEST stations of Jannah. Ameen!
