The electtion was not only declared free and fair,his victory has also been attributed to his closeness with the grass root and so many politicians even in the opposition has been testifying and identifying with him. Latest of them is the desperate and confused self acclaimed leader of Kwara politics,Sen. Bukola Saraki who. stated at a recent empowerment program by one of his stooges that Fayoses grass root politics was copied from him. Is this not so laughable ??? It seems Bukola doesnt know the meaning of grass root ! He was governor for 8yrs and still doesnt know the nooks and cranny of Ilorin let alone the state as a whole. The places he knows are places he has properties and business interests in. Like Tsonga,GRA,Ilorin,the new GRA,Tanke,Aviation College,Malete,Asa (where the rigged votes comes from) and so on... Ask the leader where is Kangile,Kilanko,Oke fomon,Asunara,Gerewu,Wara,Danialu,Ogele,Isolo,Ikerin,Epe,Etan,Isare,Oke-Aba,Pamo,Sabaja,Ikosin,Ora,Ijan and so on.... Bukola should drive from GRA to his family house in Agbaji and Im sure he will only get as far as Post Office Can he speak the local dialect of Ilorin ? The conventional Yoruba is even an apology in his tongue. How much more eating Eko tutu and Obe luhu or Tuwo and gbegiri. Can Bukola eat a plate of Amala at Iya Yusufs or Oja tuntun with his bare hands ? No ! That will be stooping so low for a leader. His close associates can not even share a glass of water with him how much more a local from Baruten or Kaiama. Fayose is not called Osokomole for nothing but,a clear indication of his closeness and identification with the people. Your closeness to people earns you one nickname or the other. What do they call Bukola ? Leader ! Doesnt that says it all? Fayose won in 2003 as governor. We all know Bukola rode on the fathers good will to win coming into politics as a green horn. In conclussion,theres a clear contrast between Bukola and Fayoses grass root politics. Bukola should stop deceiving himself. The Abuja Politicians hes referring to are more at home with the people and come 2015 we shall show him who the real grass root politicians are!
