SNL Synopsis June 16, 2013 This week we continue with our theme for this month, “Different Me.” Worship was led by MTKross from the Main Campus. Our young people testified way down from the South, and we rejoice with them as we thank the Lord for the promotion, work, and healing He has brought to our young people. We recognize Kath Enate as she portrayed the lead character in our Bay Six of Life musicale, and had her grandmother, cousin, and father to the Lord. A happy father’s day indeed! We also salute Charmita for bringing her mom to the Tech-Talk seminar and winning her to the Lord. The Zombie-infested movie “World War Z” was reviewed in our Director’s Cut and was given a maximum dog poop rating of 5 for its spiritual content, profanity, and excessive violence. Pastora Yanna, Pastora Alisha, and Bro. Ayie presented the top 10 Christian songs, and showed the music video of Chris Tomlin’s “Whom Shall I Fear” which leads as top 1. We learned for our offering thought from MTKross’ very own Pastora Cecille that we must share what God has done for us. We are His witnesses and we should be a living testimony to the people. With this, we are reminded that this is not a reason and an excuse to brag that God blesses us because we are good and because we are above the others. No, it is only by God’s grace and faithfulness that He shows us how much He loves us. The young people memorized Colossians 2:8 as the memory verse as each team had to pop balloons by sitting on them and retrieving a piece of paper with a phrase of the verse. Team Shout won in the Main Campus and the girls down in the South. The Shout team also won our SNL quiz, and the boys in the South campus. Pastora MeAnn taught from our memory verse, Colossians 2:8 that we see and hear things from this world but we must choose carefully whether to accept or reject it. Remember SNLers, compromise will get you nowhere. Get ready for our ENGAGED concert by MTKross and our very own Pator Sumrall who will share The Word. July 5,6,7 - get your tickets now. Until next week, be blessed, and be cool!
