SNOW TRAIN 2014 Hi all, here are some times for the Snow Train operating to Traralgon and return, Sunday 13th July 2014. Please ensure you direct people to this post for any information regarding the tour as we are unable to monitor all photos, messages, and event posts on the day of the tour. However we will do our best to monitor this post, if anyone would like to post time updates where you see the train, please pop them on this post below. The train will be hauled by Steamrail Victorias R761 and 707 Operations Incs R707 departing Newport Railway Station 8.12am picking up passengers at Footscray 8.20am, Southern Cross (platform 13) 8.30am, Flinders Street (platform 10) 8.36am, Caulfield 8.51am, Oakleigh 8.57am, Dandenong (platform 3) 9.12am, Pakenham (platform 1) 9.40am. Passing through Bunyip at 10am, Longwarry 10.04am arriving into Warragul at 10.26am to set down passengers off to the Wild Dog Winery Restaurant for lunch and a visit to local wineries in the area. Arrival into Moe will be 11.04am where passengers will leave the train to visit Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort or the Walhalla township including Walhalla Goldfields Railway. After departing Moe at 11.09am the train will pass Hernes Oak at 11.17am, Morwell Loop 11.23am until 11.51am, Morwell 11.53am before arriving into Traralgon at 12.10pm. The train will depart Traralgon at 4.40pm, pass Morwell at 4.53pm, Morwell Loop, 4.55pm until 5.01pm, Hernes Oak 5.08pm, Moe 5.15pm, Warragul 5.50pm, Longwarry 6.09pm, Bunyip 6.13pm then arriving at Pakenham to set down passengers at 6.38pm, Dandenong 7.01pm, Oakleigh 7.16pm, Caulfield 7.24pm, Flinders Street 7.43pm, Southern Cross 7.49pm, Footscray 8.01pm and arriving at Newport 8.10pm.
