SNOWMOBILE TRAIL UPDATE: • Zones 2, 3, 4 & 5 in Brown County will CLOSE at NOON today Monday, March 10, 2014 • Zones 1 & 6 in Brown County remain open at this time Rider should be cautious and alert for variable and uneven snow conditions and are urged to use extreme caution. Be alert for thin and icy patches along the trails, especially in the open fields and on plowed ground where the snow cover may be marginal. Please also watch for standing and ponding water. Snowmobilers MUST stay on the marked trails and respect adjoining property owners. Hundreds of gracious landowners are responsible for the county’s miles of state-funded and club trails. Please respect their property and their privacy. Stay only on marked trails. Riders are responsible for checking trail conditions in adjoining counties before riding in those counties. Riders should check our 24-hour information line before heading out if they have any doubts about trails being open. The number is (920) 448-4466 and press option 8.
