SNT Truck Accident This ill fated truck was on its way to Gref Changu. At 13th mile, there is sharp slope with a bend. The truck could not pull the last lap and its engine stalled. It was carrying bitumen. Due to sheer load, it rolled back and went off the cliff. The driver was pulled out by army personal and was given first aid. One army doctor and local sentry Mr. Shyam helped reach the driver to STNM. Minister DT Lepcha visited CRH along with MLA Tilu Gurung. SNT and its brave drivers contribute greatly to National Security by navigating through these treacherous roads to Nathu La to reach essential supplies to our defense establishments. This is yet another wake up call for BRO to improve these roads.
