SO FRUSTRATED Last year I went through having the experience of not being able to shop at Dollar General in Albia IA because I had my disabled daughter in a stroller. Theft reasons and cooperate rule is what I was told. After contacting cooperate office, district manager ....the works I was told there is no such rule. And that im welcome to shop with my kids in a stroller. Tonight I received a call from a friend that once again ran into the same problem. She, her husband and daughter were told not to bring the stroller inside. REALLY? She called me, thankfully and I headed that way immediately. I was told by the employee named Karen to go away, I have no time for you, its our policy, and I dont care if I get fired I need a vacation WAIT WHAT? Yup exactly....this is sickening. Once again I will contact cooperate office of DG tomorrow. If things dont get straighten out....well im sure this can go more public than Facebook. News channels and papers are still out there. If you are upset, irritated or disgusted like do feel free to call.
