SO.... I bought a pair of white inf 6s off eBay. They were fake... what a surprise..... I have talked to multiple managers at both eBay and Nike. eBay has a policy that they can only refund you if you can get a letter of authenticity from the manufacturer.... Nike have a policy that they will only supply this letter if the item was purchased from an official Nike retailer... eBay have sent me an email that I am to forward to Nike, it basically says that eBay themselves are asking for this letter on my behalf, Nike basically said no again. The eBay policy also states that if you buy a fake item that you are to dispose of it, not return it and get a full refund. eBay have said that I can return the item to the seller for a refund on the grounds that the item is fake. The seller on eBay has said that he is going to re-list the item as soon as he gets it back. What are my options.... a) Return the shoes and get my refund b) Destroy the shoes and lose my money c) Keep the shoes and never wear them because they are fake and lose my money d) Take this further (How and with who) Remember, I cant take this further with Nike OR eBay as they have both basically said no and I have talked to their senior managers and everything.... I have also gone in-store to many Nike stores and they all laugh at how obviously fake the shoe is. In an ideal world I would get a refund and destroy the shoes, as I dont want fakes lying around.
