SO I just read the student loan debt is now over 1.25 TRILLION dollars. I dont know the solution to fix the economy but this would be one of the first things I would pay attention to. How about instead just lending infinite amounts of money to kids, we instead limit the amount they borrow so its manageable. The students will then only choose colleges they can afford and schools will begin to rethink how they spend money and the cost of tuition. Students would enter the work force with little to no debt and have money to actually spend. Im not an economist, but I think addressing this one HUGE issue would fix a great deal of the financial problems were facing today.
