SO INTERESTING TO KNOW Its interesting. Politicians are always insinuating that Sierra Leone should grow. But check it out; Sierra Leone, the politicians and the people, which of the three is growing? The answer is obvious.....POLITICIANS and those behind them. Poverty among the ordinary man keeps germinating by the day while politicians change cars, build new houses and enjoy better facilities at all times. Go check in the villages and urban centers and see poverty steering in the faces of people who deserve better lives too. But not even a modicum of such facilities is given to them. During elections, the people woke up very early in the morning, sacrificed their times and cast votes for them-the votes that made them who they are now. But the people are wickedly neglected. By the way, to whose benefit is the Special Presidential Guards created? Of course the President and his close associates...whether here in Sierra Leone or else. But the difference between us and the other countries where there are presidential guards, e.g Ghana, is vast. They are provided better facilities than our own people. The lives of ordinary Sierra Leoneans are not protected whilst we keep protecting a President that is over- protected. Are we intending to make him more powerful as if we are in a war-prone or terrorist-prone country? I beg to differ!!
