Saddened to hear about the deaths of several dear people in the NY area. Praying for the Pope, Ruth, and Green families as well as other bereaved families. Also praying for Mother Thelma Highsmith, Mother Bolles, and others who are fighting what has been deemed terminal illnesses. Praying for those affected by the floods in Detroit........ Praying for the families of Eric Garner, Mike Brown, and other unnamed victims of injustice as well as the Ferguson community and larger St. Louis,MO area. Thinking about Robin Williams, his family,and the implications of his death. DEPRESSION IS REAL!.... thinking about how to make sure we are vigilant about ministry to the whole person, which includes mental health services. Praying for the war against this generation - the unnecessary violence inflicted upon young people, and the senseless violence they are inflicting upon themselves....:-( Still praying for the return of Relisha Rudd, the Nigerian girls, the continual Gaza conflict, The Christians on the Mountain top in Iraq and............................ Thinking about the fact that faith WITHOUT works is dead - and how we as faith leaders must be impactful AFTER we get up off our knees.
