SO MY ??? IS: What time of day do these appraisals occur? Murphy: Mayor at City Hall 3 hours a day March 06. 2014 11:13PM By Steve Mocarsky - smocarsky@civitasmedia timesleader/news/local-news-news/1240672/Murphy:-Mayor-at-City-Hall-3-hours-a-day O.K. consider this: This Mayor is also a licensed Pa. Real Estate Sales Person, Broker, and Sate Certified Appraiser whom admitted to tour 25 prospective developers through The Failed Restoration of the Historical Landmark formerly known as; The Sterling Hotel. He diverted state funds from that project to complete an over budget Intermodal project of questionable origin, and developed without any participation with the L.C.T.A. essentially an exclusive Martz bus terminal that allows public transportation to operate there. ( try getting a schedule of anyone other than Martz - youll get an 800# to call). They all knew the roof was a deal breaker, but instead of announcing the bad news they continued to spend the H.U.D. funds, and returned for more in order to demolish what we paid them to save. As A Pa. Real Estate Professional Mayor Leighton should have held the best interest of the taxpayers above the profit motives of whomever decided to mislead the public as to true condition of the restoration turned demolition project. That building sat there rotting right before his, and his so-called building inspectors eyes. Even the countys redevelopment authority turned a blind eye to the oversight of $6 million in Federal Tax Dollars, much the same way as Andy Rielly et. al. are allowing the Train Statiion to morph into unsightly blight. No citations from Code Enforcement compelling anyone to clear the weeds, provide lighting, or any steps to protect the taxpayers $5.2 million investment. I have a mind to file the complaint with the Real Estate Commission myself, but he and I are friends on facebook. ;-D...
