SO NICE TO SLEEP AGAIN ON A BED !!! After all this hours on the Airoplane seat!!! Trying to somehow get to a comfortable position can proved very challenging!! Passing through the passport control it took me about 10 seconds to clear immigration and to be greeted in Hebrew SHALOM (hello in Hebrew)by the immigration officer. The last time when I had entered the UK back from Tenerife ( a week ago) there where no queues at all to the passport control !! I was very please, and mansions it to the immigration officers, she replied yes you have missed about 5 flights. I passed my Passport for her to check (after more then 20 years living working and paying tax in the UK I do hold an Eu passport) she checked it and replied do you have your Israeli passport with you ? I didnt understand why she need to see my Israeli passport?? I do have to show it in Israel but never in England !! I did mansions it to her and I wasnt smiling any more. I do understand that they are doing a great job checking and maybe cross checking who they allowed to go in !!! But it definitely didnt make me feel welcome. being greeted in my own native language in the furtherest place in the world was just pure nice and made me feel so welcome. Within 5 minutes I was out of the Airport to a beautiful sunny day srounded by people who there language I could understand so clear. After traveling a lot last year in foreign countries (Russia China, although Tenerife) Its so refreshing to being understood, on my way to my accommodation in the shuttle bus I watch the road !! New Zealand from my first impression feel very hilly !! I smile to myself !!! Im going to have a hard time cycling and crossing this country!! Im going to stay few days here in Auckland to get over the jet lag and get myself ready for my new challenge. My feeling so far is.
