SO THANKFUL FOR BETHEL TRIBE. Tribes matter. (from Playing For Keeps by Reggie Joiner and Kristen Ivy). We are all trying to fit in somewhere. We all need a tribe--whether its large or small. Tribes were GODs idea. The original purpose of tribes was missional: to connect people to the message of a loving GOD who pursued a relationship with them over time. They exist to remind us that we belong to GOD and we belong together(withness- Keith Robinson). Tribes offer a place where you are known. You are welcome. You are forgiven. YOU BELONG. We all want to know: regardless of whatever failure we have in our life, we still have a place to belong and people who believe in us. Thats only something tribes can do. I am so thankful for Bethel Community Church. I am especially thankful for the Bethel Community Small Groups. These Small Groups are tribes. They offer a place to be welcome, to be known, to be forgiven and to belong. If you want to connect, join a Small Group. Now is the perfect time during the Exploring Mark study. It is just a 14 week commitment. Try it.
