SOAPBOX time: I do not resemble this remark, LOL. :) Men complain all the time that women only like tall men. Bullshit! Thats only true about 1/3 of the time as far as I can tell from the women I know in my own orbit. Not true for the majority... the hotter someone looks however, the more picky theyre going to be about some things. I have dated guys barely an inch taller than me (Im 5 3) and guys very much taller. I dont care how short or tall you are...it makes no difference horizontally if you have a modicum of empathy and confidence. I do prefer however, that when I wear heels, if youre then shorter than me, it doesnt bother you...I am taller in heels than some guys Ive dated, and Im not giving up my black vinyl dominatrix boots, savvy?! My pet peeve is being criticized for being in shape but wanting the same thing from whoever Im dating. Really? Men want THIN, attractive women for the most part, fine... but youre not willing to be thin or attractive/in good shape too? Thats not just a double standard, its juvenile. Thats what we complain about most, not height. You want something? You better be willing to give it in return... this is not the 1950s and some of us have self-esteem in this century. Im not 21 anymore so I dont look like Gillian Michaels, but Im not overweight or a couch potato. I take care of myself. Nothing wrong with wanting the same in return. If youre that sensitive about your height, get some lifts...lots of actors use them :)
