This position will write, test and debug new software applications and enhancements to existing software applications using .Net and other object-oriented programming languages. The primary duties will include: • Technical design, development, testing and deployment of Web-based Applications and Web Services. • Designing, developing and implementing system enhancements for our enterprise applications and public websites. • Perform systems analysis and design work on problems of varied scope, as well as assist in ensuring our critical applications are operating efficiently. • Build SSRS reports, T-SQL queries and stored procedures. Desired Qualities and Skills The successful candidate will have: • Proficiently in Microsoft .NET, SQL Server 2008 - 2012, SSRS, SSIS, HTML, C#.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, MVC and TSQL. • Knowledge of database reporting and monitoring • Strong detail-orientation as well as analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills. • Must be able to work with multiple projects simultaneously and has proficient technical writing skills. • Is self-directed and has the ability to work within a team structure yet work independently to meet deadlines. • Experience in SQL, web development and .NET are requirements for this position; while experience with HTML 5, JQuery, MS Dynamix and mobile applications are a plus. The ideal candidate will have three to seven years prior experience, preferably in .NET programming (Microsoft certifications are a plus), and a bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
