#SOL Yeah, Im irked enough to use hashtags to irk you all to my level. What is SOL you ask? Well, any long term Lions fan knows what that acronym stands for: Same Old Lions. If this isnt a clear cut case of that definition I dont know what is. Start iffy. Light it up like a low budget Fourth of July celebration (short people...focus), then stall like a 1980s Chevy Chevette (ok this one was just gold). Tell me something that didnt happen in this god forsaken game. Lost fumble? Check. Interception? Check. Turn over on downs? Double check. Bizarrely missed open passes that would have lead to a sure touchdown? Double check. I could go on, but Im sure you all see my point. So were now 6-4 and still handling on to 1st in the NFC north. With Chicagos lose its up to Giants to keep us in first; so far so good there. Which brings me to my next topic: our last 6 games. Whats seemingly the easiest remaining schedule (behind Buffalo) Im sitting here thinking instead of wiping the floor with all of them that well be lucky to finish the stretch 2-4: leading us to a 8-8 record. Why this turn around in my thoughts? Well, Tampa Bay has gotten their shit together.Philly I never thought we could beat anyways. And the Giants seem to have found their game like they always do in the 2nd half of the season. Remember that improbably run when they went 8-8 stuck into the playoffs and knock of the then 18-0 Pats? Yeah me too. And as far as the Pack go, with or without Rodgers they are still the Pack. So theres our 4 loses. Baltimore still hasnt wowd me (Specially since I picked Rice 1st in my fantasy league) and we beat the Vikings before so we should do it again: right? I need a drink. Off to find my Sprite. /rantoff
