SOLD WINERAM AUSTRALIA TO THE LINEAR TV NETWORK @ABC INTERNATIONAL !!! :D :D :D STOKED. YES, now I can say that I SOLD the show like most people would think. YES I got money for it, YES it is being broadcast in 46 countries, yes it is on TV (as everyone says). But its way different than what you think. This was a non exclusive distribution deal, JUST like what we wanted :D. So what is TV today anyways? Think about this...do you watch LINEAR TV or IPTV or VIMEO/YOUTUBE most? What kind of TV is on the rise and what side is experiencing more issues? The reason I am stoked is that for 3 years I have worked endlessly on what I consider to be this UNIQUE distribution model. Im trying to make way for where media is going today and respect traditional television at the same time. Its hard because if your not ON TV many people dont respect the value that web has today and they will say, ohhh so you make YOUTUBE videos?? lol. So what I have done is Ive shot to edit WINERAM in different formats, so that I can share it on Facebook to all of you, and so that I can give a short web length version to the wineries and hotels and other parnters that help us out. In many cases doing web content and IPTV content and putting it on TV and in a cinema doesnt seem within the realm of possibility and people have certainly called me overly ambitious or said good luck, and most people wouldnt do it or put in the effort maybe? I have filmed WINERAM to edit different formats for THE WEB, for IPTV (netflix,hulu,roku,etc), CINEMA (premiering at Capitol THeatre in Olympia, WA on May 30th 2014) and for LINEAR BROADCAST TV. Most people consider you havent MADE IT till your on linear broadcast tv...I would disagree. Yet now WINERAM is on linear broadcast TV (non exclusively just like we wanted!! :D), IPTV, Cinemas and Theaters, and the web. Where is media going today??? Doesnt matter guys, cuz well be there and we made it!!!! :D :D :D So stoked. Thank you to everyone who has helped along the way and this is definitely a celebration for you lot as well!!!
