SOME BOOKS TO READ: Several years back, say like 20 years or over, I read two books from Brother Nee-to-Sheng of Foochow, of China, popularly known as Watchman Nee. One was a little book about the Book of Ephesians. In it he shared a powerful revelation about Pauls thoughts as expressed in the book. He captured it in three words Sit Walk Stand. He said the first portion of the Book of Ephesians could be summarized as our position in Christ ...and hath made us to sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus Eph 2:6. This deals with our privileges as those who wield divine authority in the Wonderful Name of Jesus and on His behalf. The second portion he said described our walk through this life as we journey on to our eternal destiny which is the fullness of Christ. In Ephesians 4:1,Paul states I therefore the prisoner of the Lord beseech you that you walk worthy of the vocation/calling wherewith thou art called And from then on to chapter 5 and part of chapter 6 you see him instructing us on our proper conduct as believers. The third part of the book, Bro Nee says deals with our stand against the devil. This stand isnt about our petty witches and wizards that dog our steps in our personal endeavours (although it includes it). This is about the warfare between the kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Darkness. for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers...stand therefore Ephesians 6:10-end. Please look for this book and read, it contains the riches of the Kingdom. I shall continue tomorrow on SOME BOOKS TO READ..I hope to share on the several books that have influenced me growing up in Christ.
