SOME EXCITING NEWS: The Mount Scopus Performing Arts department is thrilled to introduce its upcoming new initiative- ‘Performing Arts Master-class Series’. These workshops and performances that will be led by various industry professionals will cover areas such as acting, audition technique, dance, musical theatre, music and song writing. We will be featuring an esteemed line up of working industry professionals and experienced performers renowned in their fields and also a couple of ex-collegians working professionally on stage and on screen. The series of master-classes will complement the Colleges curricular and extra-curricular performing arts programs, providing students with new insight and skills to help further their performing arts pursuits and careers during school and beyond. Some sessions will be open to all students from years 9-12. The New initiative will run after-school in the drama studio with sessions held during September and October. The Workshops are as follows: 2nd September: Isabella Dunwill- Audition Bootcamp 4-7 4th September: Gemma Kaplan- Music Theatre 4-5.15 15th September: Husky Gawenda- Music and song writing 4-5.15 18th September: Kiara Keiser- Dance 4-5.15 If you guys are interested in a future in performing arts or are looking for something epically fun to do, sign up on the performing arts board next to the caff!
