SOME OF THESE AFRICAN WANNABE LIBERTARIANS ARE SERIOUSLY FUNNY WITH THEIR TWISTED LOGIC.... They be like privatization is why the telecommunication industry is what it is today, meaning it is likely to yield the same results when applied to the Power Sector... And this is what it is today : For starters, there is no Ghanaian owned telecommunication operator in Ghana..... most of the profits are repatriated... They put up some face saving middle class philanthropic acts every now and then though... Secondly, from what I have gathered from random people who experienced the then nationally owned ONETOUCH attest to better quality of service compared to todays privatized MTNs and co.... If sim cards have become this accessible and cheap it is because the productive forces in these sectors have advanced, and is just being put to use it has nothing to do with privatization or nationalization.. The logic is that previously, a sim card was very expensive compared to todays, hell yeah most inventions when commercialized get to enjoy some luxury status.. And telephones and simcards were luxury products back then... Cant wait for the privatization of our presidency... OKAY ENOUGH for now.... My dear Middle Class Imperial Puppets...
