SOMEBODYS DOG****** My name is Bonnie and I was somebodys dog. I dont know what happened but I ended up in Harris County Animal Control about 3 months ago. I had gotten in pretty bad shape as I had a skin infection, and my eyes were all matted and so was my coat. I really dont like to be dirty and enjoy my baths and grooming, after all I was somebodys dog and they had to have loved me and cared for me or I wouldnt know about grooming. I already know how to sit and walk on a leash and have the potty thing down pat. Im good with kids and love people and most dogs. But remember, I would know all that because I was somebodys dog. Something happened to my eyes and now I am blind in one eye and dont see really great out of the other. The vet said I had Dry Eye Syndrome and my eyes had not been treated, so that is why I cant see too well. I am also heartworm positive. How could that happen because, after all, I was somebodys dog. They would have cared for me and made sure I got what I needed. I am with a foster mom right now and she is helping me with my eyes, and my skin is all healthy and I am being treated for Heartworms. She said that I would be fine and that she will take care of me and keep me safe, until one day when I will again get to be Somebodys dog. saverescue.org
