SOMEONE RECENTLY ASKED ME why I seem to love editing so much? Reading is an enjoyable hobby. Knowing which words to use in certain situations (or options) and how they should fit together is a learned skill, and its one I was trained to know. Having the knowledge about when to use who or whom is the easy part. Catching incorrect use of through when threw should be used is also basic for my brain. Seeing the characters and understanding their personalities and having a feel for what theyd do in certain situations ... well thats a gift that I cherish each day when Im working on manuscripts. Helping writers become authors, and authors become better ones ... priceless. Todays photos were taken in the main dining room on a South Pacific cruise we took in 2009. I occasionally refer to my hubby on here and thought you might like to see the kind of man I married. Hes the father of our grown children, a source of humor when its least expected, and most of all ... hes my best friend. You keep writing ... Ill keep editing (and loving it).
