Benefit Concert for Homeless Veterans @6pm Pomona Fox Theater 301 South Garey Avenue Pomona 877 283 6976 foxpomona This Memorial Day weekend, there is a benefit concert homeless veterans courtesy the Costanoan Rumsen Carmel Native American Tribe. Los Angeles is the homeless veterans capital of the country. The Housing Department reports more than six-thousand homeless vets living in LA and more than 60-thousand nationwide. Official say the count is incomplete because many of the vets sleeping under bridges, in alleys or in abandoned buildings have not been counted.
